Never sewn on a button before but wish you knew how? Join Cactus Revival's Kate Fenby for a hands-on beginner workshop that will teach you this essential clothing repair skill.

Designed for absolute beginners, this practical session focuses on simple mending techniques that can help extend the life of your clothes. No sewing machines, patterns or garment-making experience required, just a willingness to learn.

You'll gain confidence using a needle and thread while learning a skill that can save money, reduce waste and keep your favourite clothes in circulation for longer.

You'll learn how to:

Sew on a button securely

Choose basic tools and materials for mending

Build confidence with simple hand-sewing techniques

Feel free to bring along a garment that needs a button replaced so you can practise your new skills.
