General Inter-Library Loans

  • A limit of five inter-library loan requests per user will apply at any one time. We understand this service is invaluable for many members and to ensure we can keep offering this option we must ensure it is used appropriately. Moving books involves carbon miles and costs for the borrowing library. It’s up to all of us to ensure we responsibly use this service.

  • While most services at this library remain free, there are of course real costs to providing services. To retain our access to the widest range of materials, we need to apply the following charges:

    For National/Academic items: $29.40

    From another Council: $4.10

Bulk Language Inter-Library Loans

Looking for books in a language other than English? Bulk language inter-library loans allow you to borrow around 10 titles in the language of your choice. Select the language you wish to read and the type of item you are looking for. You can borrow board books or picture books, cookbooks or novels this way. This is a free service. Please call the library or drop into a branch to chat to a librarian about this service.
