We're aware of an issue affecting BorrowBox and Libby. Our team is working on a fix and we hope to have things back to normal soon. Thanks for bearing with us!
Our branches will be closed on Monday 18 May for a staff training day. Our regular programs, such as Storytime and the JP Service, will not be offered on this day. We'll reopen on Tuesday as per our usual opening hours.
Get your hands dirty and cultivate your own garden with seeds from Frankston, Carrum Downs, and Seaford Library. Avoid food waste, save money and learn how to raise and grow a thriving garden.
Collect up to three packets of seeds from the library. Grow plants, veggies, and flowers with your seeds. Collect harvested seeds from whatever you have grown in your garden. Return your harvested seeds to the library with a donation slip...and we'll package them up ready for the next person! Print a Seed donation form(PDF, 188KB) or drop into Carrum Downs, Frankston, or Seaford for a copy. We’re always open to donations of fruit, vegetable and herb seeds to stock the Seed Library. We welcome unused packets of seeds in addition to the seeds that you may have harvested from your own garden.
Our Seed Library also occasionally offers donations such a plastic plant pots, seedling pods, egg cartons and other gardening bits and pieces. The Seed Library has been created as part of the Frankston City Council Health & Wellbeing Plan, click here for more info on the Health and Wellbeing Plan.
