Join us after hours for our Foreign Film Club, a new space for film lovers to connect over international cinema. In September we'll be watching Spanish film Before A Rooster Crows, thanks to Kanopy. 

After the film, stay on to share your thoughts, discuss themes and characters, and enjoy light refreshments in a relaxed, welcoming atmosphere.   

Whether you’re a seasoned cinephile or just curious about foreign films, everyone is welcome.

About Before A Rooster Crows:

In this Puerto Rican coming-of-age story, Carmín's dream of moving to the city with her mother vanishes when she instead moves to the US with her new husband. Carmín moves to Barranquitas, a mountainous village in the center of Puerto Rico, with her grandmother, a tough and conservative woman. Now Carmín must learn to live amidst absence, desire and love.

Nominated for Bright Future Award at the Rotterdam International Film Festival.
