Our branches will be closed for the public holiday on Monday 8 June. See you at our usual opening time on Tuesday!
Next date: Thursday, 02 July 2026 | 09:30 AM to 10:30 AM
For kids aged 4-7 years old plus their grown-up helper Through stories, prompts, and group activities, children will explore how ideas begin and grow.
Together, we will brainstorm characters, settings, and story twists, then turn those sparks into a mini zine to take home. Each child will create their own small book filled with drawings, words, and story starters they can keep and continue to create with long after the workshop ends.
This is a fun, collaborative workshop that encourages creativity, confidence, and a love of storytelling. Perfect for young imaginations ready to explore and create. Please note that this age group will need an adult to work alongside. Please book a ticket for each child participating - no need to book for the accompanying adult. Frankston City Libraries is proud to be able to provide workshops, information sessions and events FREE of charge to the community. Help us make this event a success by committing only if you can attend. If plans change, please cancel promptly to support our authors/facilitators in preparing for your participation. This will support the ongoing delivery of our programs.
