For kids aged 9-12 years

In this hands-on program, young participants explore coding and robotics through games, creative challenges, and free play.

They will experiment with sensors, simple electronics, and how computers work, all while building confidence with digital technology.

Along the way, they will:

  • Spot patterns and create their own
  • Write simple step-by-step instructions for robots to follow
  • Use directions like forward and backward, and practise ordering steps
  • Break big problems into smaller, manageable parts
  • Test ideas, learn from mistakes, and try again

It is a fun and supportive space where curiosity leads the way and essential coding skills grow naturally.

In partnership with Melbourne Museum.

Please book a ticket for each child attending - no need to book for the accompanying adult.

Frankston City Libraries is proud to be able to provide school holiday events FREE of charge to the community. Help us make this event a success by committing only if you can attend. If plans change, please cancel promptly to support our facilitators in preparing for your participation.
