Frankston City Libraries is thrilled to welcome Warm Winter Read 2026 ambassador Kate Solly to Frankston Library.

Bring your knitting, crochet, stitching or any in-progress craft and settle in for a relaxed author talk with much-loved cosy crime writer Kate Solly.

While you work on your latest craft project, Kate will chat about her new novel, The Paradise Heights Miniature Railway Bust-Up, and her much-loved Fleck Parker mysteries, including Tuesday Evenings with the Copeton Craft Resistance and The Paradise Heights Craft Store Stitch-Up. Expect plenty of laughs, behind-the-scenes stories of writing life, and insight into how community, creativity and chaos collide in her books.

Kate is a writer, a mother of six, and a champion starter of crochet projects that may or may not get finished. This is a low-pressure, welcoming session where listening and making go hand in hand.

Craft, chat, and Cosy Crime, what else could you want for an evening? All welcome!

Tickets are free and bookings are essential.
