Join us in celebration of diversity, equality, and love!

In honor of International Day Against Homophobia, Biphobia, Interphobia, and Transphobia (IDAHOBIT), we're hosting an empowering event that celebrates every shade of the rainbow.

Hannah McElhinney (she/her) is the creator and writer behind Rainbow History Class, a space for sharing the queer and trans history. Join us for a FrankTALK with Hannah for IDAHOBIT 2024.

Starting on TikTok in 2021, Rainbow History Class has since become a thriving global community of over 500k followers on social media, and led to a nationally touring live show, a Tedx Talk and now a video podcast.

Hannah has written and directed for brands such as Netflix, VICE and Google Arts and Culture, and is currently making her own queer history in Melbourne with her partner and dog.

Whether you're a proud member of the LGBTIQA+ community, a passionate ally, or simply curious to learn more, all are welcome to join us in this journey toward inclusivity and acceptance.

You can reserve Hannah's book, Rainbow History Class, via our online catalogue or read the eBook on BorrowBox here.

Frankston City Libraries is proud to be able to provide workshops, information sessions and events FREE of charge to the community. Help us make this event a success by committing only if you can attend.
If plans change, please cancel promptly to support our authors/facilitators in preparing for your participation. This will support the ongoing delivery of our programs. Thank you!
