Award-winning author, musician and screenwriter Dave Warner is bringing his latest novel, When it Rains, to Frankston Library.

The newest instalment in his acclaimed Dan Clement series, When It Rains, begins with a hand tied to a post in the crocodile-infested waters of Broome, Western Australia. This gripping crime thriller follows Detective Dan Clement as he investigates a series of violent crimes, racing against time to solve a high-stakes mystery.

Warner is also well-known for his gold album, Mug’s Game, and his iconic band Dave Warner’s from the Suburbs. His impressive career has earned him numerous accolades, including being named a Western Australian State Living Treasure and an induction into the WAMi Rock’n’Roll of Renown.

This event will feature live music by guitarist Tony Durant, whose performance is inspired by Warner’s writing. The collaboration of literature and live music promises to create a unique experience for attendees – an evening not to be missed!
