Sun, sea, sand and a story
A beach read symbolises a pause from the hustle of life. It’s a time to enjoy those books you’ve been meaning to read. To make this easier, Frankston City Libraries have launched a Beach Library at the Visitor Information Centre at Frankston Beach.
Frankston local Ashlee, an avid reader, said, “The beach library is a wonderful addition to our beach trips. It’s so easy to borrow and the range of titles is fantastic.”
The kids aren’t forgotten either with many popular children’s titles, including board books for the youngest readers.
“A stop at the Beach Library will become a part of our beach days now,” she said.
