Can you heal trauma without talk therapy? And how safe is it, and proven to work? This is where EMDR comes in.

Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing (EMDR) is a powerful psychological treatment that has been used for over 30 years to help with many different types of psychological distress. EMDR is one of the most researched psychotherapeutic approaches for PTSD.

Danielle Sellick is a leading clinical psychologist, EMDRAA Accredited Consultant and author. Together with fellow psychologists Eman Shehata and Dr Christopher Holt, Danielle will join Joe Bakhmoutski, a Frankston based health activist and host of Power To Be Happy podcast, for an in depth exploration of EMDR, and its role in healing from trauma.

Join us for an immersive workshop that brings together two live EMDR demonstrations, and a robust discussion of how it works through the lens of the lived experience.

Please note that this event will feature personal storytelling, which can evoke powerful emotions in both the person sharing and the people listening. To ensure a safe and supportive experience for all attendees, we’ll have resources and tools available as we navigate this meaningful journey together.
