Gift non-perishable food items and toys this Christmas at Frankston Library.
Frankston City Council, in association with local charities and , is encouraging residents to support our local community by gifting non-perishable food items and toys to the Frankston City Libraries Christmas Giving Tree.
On behalf of Frankston Life Community, we welcome donations of quality non-perishable food items to be placed under the Christmas Giving Tree. Food items suitable for donation include canned fruit or vegetables, packets of cereal, pasta, rice, biscuits and pre-cooked desserts (for example: puddings, fruit cake, mince pies) containers of jam, spreads and sauces. (No alcohol please). Non-perishable items donated at the giving tree will be passed on to local people struggling this Christmas. Hampers with the donated items will be distributed at the
Toy donations are also welcomed. We welcome donations of brand new toys for all age ranges. Donated gifts can also include books, colouring books, pencils and other items suitable for children to use and play with all year round. (Items that have been used cannot be accepted)
Community Support Frankston Inc. is a not-for-profit community support agency which provides services including emergency food, grocery vouchers, help with utility bills, referrals and advocacy for people who live, or work in the City of Frankston.
Alternatively, donating directly to Community Support Frankston is a meaningful way to contribute to local families who face hardship during Christmas time. All monetary donations over $2.00 are tax deductible and 100% of your donation is spent on helping those in need. There are a number of ways you can donate; .
Donations to the Frankston City Libraries Giving Tree are being accepted from Friday 22 November through to Friday 20 December. You can also drop donations into Carrum Downs and Seaford Libraries and we will pop them under the tree at Frankston for you..
