February 14 may be best known for Valentine’s Day, a celebration of love and romance that became widely popular through commercialisation, greeting cards, and cultural traditions. However, it’s also Library Lovers’ Day, a time to celebrate a different kind of love—the love of books, stories, and lifelong learning! Library Lovers Day highlights the importance of libraries in our communities, encouraging people to discover new reads, appreciate library services, and share their passion for literature. So, whether you’re celebrating with a special someone or getting lost in a great book, February is all about love in its many forms. There are so many quick and easy ways to share your love of libraries this February, and in our quest to reach 1 million borrows this financial year, we just know you'll want to get on board!
