Libraries Change Lives

We're collecting stories to publish online to support the Libraries Change Lives initiative.

Libraries Change Lives is a campaign that highlights the positive impacts that Victorian public libraries have on their communities, providing opportunities to learn, create and belong.

The Libraries Change Lives initiative will start a conversation about the value of public libraries and celebrate the essential services they deliver every day.  No other institution offer the same safe and inclusive public spaces with free and equal, life-changing access to art, ideas, education and social engagement.  We're collecting stories to publish online to support the initiative.

We would love to hear the impact that the library has had on your life.  Have you studied or set up a business in the library?  Used the computer to obtain a new job?  Have you been new to the area and made friends in the library?  Whatever your story, we would love to hear it.
