Check out what activities we have on offer for your primary school aged children.

STEAM Buddies

STEAM Buddies is a new program for children in grades prep, 1, 2 and 3 who love books, reading, crafts, puzzles, and games. Interactive learning experiences are offered to enjoy and explore books, science, maths, arts and crafts.  STEAM Buddies runs over two terms per year at the Carrum Downs Library. These sessions are FREE but booking are essential because numbers are limited.

Lego Club

Do you love all things to do with Lego? Join in the fun and master build some awesome creations! Keep an eye on the ‘What’s On’ page for dates; children of all ages welcome.

 

School Holiday Program

During the school holidays the library runs a range of sessions at Frankston, Carrum Downs and Seaford libraries.  The school holiday activities can include craft sessions, storytimes, movies, gaming and performances.

Code Club

Learn how to make computer games, animations and websites using Scratch.  As the program progresses week to week, a commitment is required for the school term.  Code Club runs at Frankston Library after school during term.

Summer Reading Club

Over the Summer Holidays, the library runs the Summer Reading Club, which rewards children for reading books.  Go into the draw for awesome prizes just by signing up!  Information is available on our website from December.

 

Minecraft

All public computers now have Minecraft installed.  Bring your username to play.
