Our branches and return chutes are closed

Thank you to our members for the messages, phone calls and notes we've received from you in recent weeks. Your well wishes have meant the world to us and have really helped to lift everyone's spirits.

As you know, the Premier of Victoria has issued a State of Disaster for Victoria.

As a result, the return chutes at our library branches are now closed, and we need to pause the delivery of reservations and Binge Bags to our Frankston City community.

Our staff have been working as hard as they can to get your items out to you before we close later today. We were inundated with requests and we may not be able to get to yours. If you do miss out, we're really sorry, but it also means you're at the front of the queue when we can resume this service.

During this time, our online eBooks, eAudiobooks, music and movie streaming services are available 24 hours a day, and our events and programs plus our popular FrankTALKS and Storytime Live on Facebook each Tuesday and Thursday at 11am will continue.

We’ve just launched our Friday Night Flicks and Sunday Kids Films on Facebook, so if you can make it, we’d love you to join us on Kanopy for each event and know we’re still kind of together – but apart. You can check out Kanopy HERE.

Also, if you need help with home schooling, we’ve just launched Studiosity. You’ll hear more about it soon, but it’s a free online, on-demand 24/7 tutoring platform. It can also help you with job seeking. Jump on our website and check it out HERE.

If you need help accessing our online library during this time or have questions about our online events and programs, you can call the team 10am-4pm Monday to Friday on 9784 1020 and we're also available on Live Chat via our website.

All due dates on library items have been extended until at least 4 November. Any item returned this week will remain in quarantine and also on your library card over this period. But don't worry, we know you've returned the item and you will not incur a fine.

Most importantly, please stay safe. We look forward to getting back into the library as soon as we can and hope you enjoy all our online library, programs and events have to offer in the meantime!
