‘Looking at my career, in hindsight it seems my role was that of a natural trouble shooter in the game! When all else failed? The real story, the second story often unfolded around getting the club/organisation out of trouble!’

The Frankston and Mornington Peninsula area has always been a fertile breeding ground for Aussie Rules, consistently unearthing great VFL, AFL and State Leagues’ players and umpires.

Frankston is also renowned for influence and innovation in football administration, leading the way off the field.

Please join Alan to talk about the evolution of AFL and the impact he and Frankston associations have had on the game today. We’re looking forward to hearing some behind-the-scenes stories of some of the game’s greats and how Alan impacted the Collingwood Football Club strategically in the 90s.

The Second Storey Man will be available to purchase on the day and Alan will be signing copies.
