Creative Arts Workshop
Next date: Thursday, 23 September 2021 | 06:00 PM
to 07:30 PM
Peter Fanton, creative arts and therapeutic arts practitioner will undertake a creative arts workshop, to ‘reinvigorate’ your focus towards self-care, meaningful connections, and well-being.
Creativity can be a wonderful way to promote well-being and support your mental health.
Through-out the COVID 19 experience, you may have been feeling more stressed, overwhelmed, anxious, uncertain, less hopeful, agitated, depressed, or any number of emotions which affect the way you feel about yourself and others, escalating your sense of personal vulnerability, therefore impacting on important relationships in your life.
You are not alone in feeling this way! However, being creative can allow us to engage in our ‘meaningful me’, courageously acknowledging and exploring our experience to re-claim our self-worth and purpose through our own creative self-care.
It is especially important to note that you do not have to consider yourself creative, or ‘an artist’, in order to participate in guided creative processes which, promote therapeutic benefits; you just need to be open to trying something new!
It is our hope that together, we can manifest a renewed sense of ‘vitality’ via engagement in creativity.
This workshop will focus on creative processes which include a variety of expressive modalities and artistic mediums. The successful psychological outcome of individual and communal healing can be a real testimony to the benefits gained from our ‘creative courage’. This becomes a pure reflection of one’s resilience, courage, and hopefulness!
Peter looks forward to sharing this experience with you.
