Volunteers are an important part of our Library service delivery and play a vital role in the creation of a viable and sustainable local community.

Some of the volunteer opportunities available include:

• Tidying the library, e.g. ordering library items on the shelves, returning books etc to the shelves, straightening shelves
  
• Home Library Service: collection and delivery of books, CDs, talking books etc for the housebound
  
• Preparation for children's story time sessions and school holiday programs, e.g. photocopying, cutting out activities, collating etc

If you have specific qualifications/experience, you might like to offer training classes in a variety of areas, e.g. gardening tips, quilting/knitting, playing music, computers, genealogy, DIY around the home - whatever your interest.
